QuMiro Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 7, 2026

I. Confirmation and Application of These Terms

  1. Welcome to QuMiro. QuMiro is an interest-based social networking, content community, activity organization and participation, messaging, personal planning, and related service provided by Chengdu Qumai Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the QuMiro iOS application and other service forms to which these Terms expressly apply (collectively, the “Services”).
  2. Before registering for, logging in to, or using the Services, please carefully read these Terms and the “QuMiro Privacy Policy,” especially the provisions highlighted in bold concerning limitations of liability, account handling, dispute resolution, and other matters. These Terms bind you once you accept them by checking the agreement box or another method recognized by applicable law and clearly explained to you. Reading the Terms or using a feature does not replace permission authorization, separate consent, or renewed consent to material changes where legally required.
  3. If you do not agree to all or any part of these Terms, please stop registering for or using the relevant Services. If a feature is subject to separate rules, activity rules, or a supplemental agreement, such rules and these Terms together constitute the agreement between you and us; in the event of any inconsistency, the special rules applicable to that feature shall prevail.
  4. “User Content” in these Terms means text, images, profile pictures, locations, activities, messages, reports, and other information that users publish, upload, send, comment on, submit when registering for an activity, or otherwise submit through the Services.

II. User Eligibility and Protection of Minors

  1. You shall have the civil capacity appropriate for using the Services and carrying out the related civil acts.
  2. The Services are primarily intended for adults. Users under the age of eighteen shall read and agree to these Terms under the guidance of a guardian. Children under the age of fourteen may not register for or use account-based Services without the express consent of a guardian and without the corresponding child personal information protection mechanisms provided by us. You shall also comply with applicable legal requirements concerning age, guardian consent, and children’s personal information protection. Where applicable law requires stricter protection, those requirements apply.
  3. A guardian who agrees to a minor’s use of the Services shall reasonably supervise the minor’s account, content publication, online communications, and participation in offline activities, with particular attention to risks involving contact with strangers, location disclosure, property transactions, and personal safety.

III. Account Registration, Login, and Security

  1. Subject to the methods actually made available in the product, you may use email, Sign in with Apple, or other methods supported by us to register, log in, or link an account. You shall provide true, accurate, lawful, and valid information and update it promptly when it changes.
  2. Your account is for your personal use only. You may not buy, sell, rent, lend, or share an account, impersonate another person, or create an account in a misleading manner.
  3. You shall properly safeguard your password, verification codes, devices, and login credentials. To the extent permitted by law, actions taken through your account will be deemed your actions. If you discover account theft, an unusual login, or another security risk, immediately change your credentials, sign out of other sessions, and contact us.
  4. To protect security, we may implement verification codes, login frequency limits, device or installation identifier verification, session management, and other measures. You may not interfere with authentication or security mechanisms through automated scripts, bulk accounts, API probing, bypassing verification, or other means.
  5. You may manage login methods and view or revoke sessions in “Me - Settings - Account & Privacy - Account Security,” and request account deletion through “Delete account.” The specific effects of account deletion are described in Section XV of these Terms and the “QuMiro Privacy Policy.”

IV. Service Content and Operation

  1. The Services may currently include:
  • Browsing, searching, publishing, and managing posts, comments, images, location tags, and related interactions;
  • Creating, discovering, registering for, reviewing, participating in, and managing interest-based activities;
  • Following or blocking other users and communicating by message;
  • Receiving interaction, activity, message, service, and personal plan reminders;
  • Creating personal tasks, schedules, recurring plans, and activity plans;
  • Reporting noncompliant content or conduct, viewing handling results, and submitting appeals through available processes;
  • Other features actually provided by us and displayed in the product.
  1. The Services may experience brief interruptions or abnormalities due to feature adjustments, data migration, system maintenance, network conditions, or device compatibility. We will maintain service stability and data security within a reasonable scope, but do not guarantee that the Services will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
  2. We may adjust Service content for product operation, security, compliance, or technical reasons. We will provide advance notice through in-app notifications, pop-ups, announcements, or other reasonable means of changes that materially affect user rights and interests.

V. User Conduct Rules

5.1 Prohibited Content and Conduct

When using the Services, you shall comply with applicable laws and regulations, public order and good morals, and community rules. You may not create, reproduce, publish, disseminate, organize, assist, or induce any of the following content or conduct:

  1. Violating applicable law, endangering public safety, or unlawfully disclosing state secrets or other legally protected information;
  2. Advocating terrorism, extremism, hatred, or discrimination, or inciting violence, unlawful conduct, or infringement of others’ rights;
  3. Fabricating or disseminating false information that disrupts economic order, social order, or public safety;
  4. Disseminating unlawful pornography or sexual exploitation content, particularly sexual exploitation of minors; soliciting unlawful gambling, prohibited goods, or illegal weapons transactions; encouraging, threatening, or providing harmful actionable instructions for violence, abuse, self-harm, suicide, or other crimes;
  5. Insulting, defaming, harassing, threatening, or stalking others, or engaging in cyberviolence, discrimination, bullying, or malicious exposure;
  6. Infringing another person’s privacy rights, personal information rights and interests, portrait rights, reputation rights, intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or other lawful rights and interests;
  7. Disclosing another person’s precise location, contact details, identification documents, itinerary, chat records, or other sensitive information without consent;
  8. Publishing false activities, fabricating identities or experiences, or engaging in fraud, pyramid schemes, illegal fundraising, money laundering, malicious diversion of traffic, artificial traffic manipulation, spam advertising, or other improper conduct;
  9. Publishing dangerous activities without reasonably disclosing risks, or organizing activities that violate the law, exceed licensed qualifications, or clearly endanger personal or property safety;
  10. Damaging the Services or related systems through exploitation of vulnerabilities, malicious API calls, crawlers, reverse engineering, viruses, attacks, interference, or other means;
  11. Violating other community standards or specific rules lawfully established and published by us.

5.2 Noncompliant and Prohibited Expressions and Their Variants

  1. “Noncompliant expressions” are expressions that violate community rules in context, such as targeted insults, harassment, bullying, discrimination, fraud, or malicious solicitation. “Prohibited expressions” refer to content or conduct prohibited by applicable law. Whether content is unlawful or noncompliant depends on its full context, conduct, and applicable law; the rule library is not a single worldwide list of legally prohibited words.
  2. A rule may include corresponding Chinese and English expressions, abbreviations, homophones, pinyin, spelling variants, and expressions containing inserted spaces or symbols. Do not deliberately evade rules through split words, substituted characters, or other means to engage in harmful conduct. A lack of a match does not mean content is lawful, safe, or endorsed by the platform.
  3. Legitimate requests for help, medical and health discussions, education, news, anti-discrimination speech, and necessary quotations in reports or appeals require contextual assessment. A related word, country or region name, identity, or group name alone must not determine a violation. Automated matching may not distinguish every context correctly; suspected errors may be reported under Section IX.

5.3 Text Checks and Submission Handling

  1. Current text rules may apply to controlled fields including post titles and bodies, comments, nicknames and bios, activity titles and descriptions, participation or fee instructions, online participation instructions, and direct and activity group messages. Enabled scenarios and rules may change as needed for governance. Rule matching does not replace assessment of conduct, images, external links, or offline risks.
  2. Rules may be set to “observe” or “block.” Observation records necessary match summaries without automatically deducting credit or imposing a penalty for that match. Blocking rejects the relevant submission; you may edit and resubmit. A text match or blocked submission does not by itself establish illegality or impose an account penalty. Further governance measures follow Section IX.
  3. Checks process relevant text you submit, including direct and group messages. The “QuMiro Privacy Policy” explains match summaries, processing purposes, access, and retention. Do not submit unrelated private information when testing rules or reporting an issue.

VI. User Content and Intellectual Property

  1. You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your User Content. You represent that you have the right to submit the relevant content and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights.
  2. For the purposes of storing, displaying, distributing, searching, reviewing, backing up, adapting the format of, sharing, and promoting content and the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license that may be sublicensed to necessary technical service providers. This license is limited to the scope necessary to provide, improve, protect, and promote the Services and is subject to your visibility settings and applicable law.
  3. Other users may view and share content set as public to the extent permitted by product features. External sharing links may be further disseminated by recipients; do not submit information in public content that you do not wish to make public.
  4. After you delete content or delete your account, we will cease public display or delete or anonymize the content in accordance with product features and applicable law. However, copies temporarily retained due to lawful quotation by other users, shared caches, backup rotation, dispute handling, or legal obligations may not disappear immediately.
  5. Intellectual property rights in the QuMiro product name, logos, interfaces, software, code, documentation, and other content provided by us are owned by us or the relevant right holders. Without authorization, you may not copy, modify, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or use them for commercial purposes unrelated to the Services, except where expressly permitted by law.

VII. Activity Publication, Registration, and Personal Safety

7.1 Activity Information and Organizer Responsibilities

  1. QuMiro provides tools for publishing and discovering activity information, registering for activities, managing members, and communicating. Unless an activity page expressly states that we are the organizer, activities are generally initiated independently by the user who publishes the activity or by a third-party organizer, and we are not the organizer, agent, guarantor, or transaction counterparty for such activity.
  2. Organizers shall keep activity information accurate, complete, and up to date, including the format, time and applicable time zone, offline location or online access, participant numbers, fees, risks, eligibility, and cancellation rules. Place recommendations, map markers, profiles, or passing a rule check do not certify identity, qualifications, or safety.
  3. Higher-risk activities such as hiking, climbing, water sports, or driving require adequate disclosure of routes, weather, venue conditions, equipment, skill and health requirements, emergency arrangements, and cancellation conditions. Organizers shall obtain and implement legally required permits, qualifications, insurance, and safeguards; a disclaimer cannot replace necessary safety measures.
  4. Labels such as “Free,” “AA,” or other fee descriptions for an activity are for informational display only. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the product, QuMiro currently does not provide payment collection, escrow, guarantees, or refund services. Payments, refunds, transportation, accommodation, equipment, and other transactions conducted offline or through third-party channels between users shall be agreed upon by the relevant parties, who bear the associated risks.
  5. An organizer may set an activity’s precise location as public or visible only to eligible activity members. Organizers and participants may not use, copy, or disseminate another person’s location or participation information beyond what is necessary for the activity.

7.2 Protecting Yourself When Participating

  1. Before joining, verify the organizer, activity, schedule, transport, fees, and withdrawal rules, and assess your health, skills, and risk tolerance. Consult a qualified professional or obtain appropriate insurance when needed. Do not ignore risks because an activity is popular, someone pressures you, or you have already paid.
  2. For a first meeting, prefer open public places and reliable transport. Tell someone you trust your necessary itinerary and expected return time, safeguard belongings, and avoid exposing your home address, identity documents, or live itinerary. You arrange this sharing yourself; it does not mean the platform collects emergency contacts or continuously tracks you.
  3. Stop participating and move to safety if you feel unwell or encounter changing weather or conditions, dangerous driving, coercion, harassment, or another unsafe situation. Joining, paying, or acknowledging a risk does not waive lawful rights to withdraw, seek help, complain, or claim compensation. Avoid activities requiring concentration or physical exertion when intoxicated, impaired by medication, or excessively fatigued.
  4. Minors must comply with age and guardianship requirements; guardians shall assess suitability and accompaniment. Do not induce minors to visit secluded places alone, conceal their itinerary, or send intimate images.
  5. For online or hybrid activities, verify meeting, streaming, and external link sources, and be cautious when sharing names, contact details, or images. Do not provide passwords, verification codes, payment credentials, or wallet keys to others. Be alert to requests from strangers for transfers, deposits, software downloads, or screen sharing. Share online access links and codes only with appropriate recipients.

7.3 Emergency Help and Platform Boundaries

  1. For immediate danger, a missing person, or a medical emergency, first contact appropriate local police, fire, medical, or other rescue services, and seek help from someone you trust when safe to do so. QuMiro is not a real-time rescue, medical diagnosis, trip supervision, or continuous location tracking service. Reports and customer service do not replace emergency assistance or guarantee an immediate response.
  2. Report non-emergency violations through available in-product channels or support@qumiro.com. Preserve necessary evidence only when safe and lawful; do not expose yourself to further danger to obtain it. The platform handles issues under Section IX and lawfully cooperates with competent authorities.

VIII. Messages, Notifications, and Personal Plans

  1. Messages between users are for ordinary communication only. You may not send harassment, fraud, illegal transactions, malicious marketing, or infringing content. Exercise caution when disclosing contact details, residential addresses, itineraries, financial information, or identity information to strangers.
  2. You may manage notification permissions and notification categories in the system and within the application. Necessary service notifications concerning account security, service changes, or handling of illegal or noncompliant conduct may not be affected by general marketing or interaction notification settings, but we will limit them to what is necessary.
  3. Personal plans and reminders are auxiliary tools and may be affected by device permissions, system limitations, time zones, network conditions, or service status. You shall independently confirm important schedules and deadlines and shall not use them as the sole reminder method for medical, emergency, financial, or other high-risk matters.

IX. Content Governance, Reports, and Appeals

  1. We may use manual or technical measures in accordance with law to review, restrict dissemination of, hide, or delete content suspected of violating laws, regulations, rules, or third-party rights, and may issue warnings or restrict features, suspend, ban, or delete the relevant accounts.
  2. To protect users and platform security, we may retain necessary text rule match summaries, reports, evidence, decisions, credit events, restrictions, and audits as explained in the “QuMiro Privacy Policy.” Checks can produce false positives or miss harmful content. Further governance considers full context, the nature, impact and frequency of conduct, evidence, and history. A single match does not replace manual review or appeals for major account decisions.
  3. If a submission is blocked, you may edit and resubmit. For suspected false positives or disputed content or account decisions, request an explanation or review through available feedback, report, or appeal channels, or support@qumiro.com. Provide the scenario, time, and necessary materials without publicly spreading harmful content or unrelated personal information. Do not submit malicious reports, fabricate evidence, or use reporting to harass others.
  4. In emergencies, upon requests from judicial authorities, or in cases involving manifestly illegal content or major security risks, we may first take necessary control measures and provide supplemental notice or review within a reasonable period afterward.

X. Privacy and Personal Information Protection

  1. We attach importance to protecting personal information and privacy. For information about the categories, purposes, and methods of our personal information processing, retention periods, third parties, your rights, and account deletion rules, please read the “QuMiro Privacy Policy.”
  2. When you use features involving the camera, location, photo selection, or notifications, the system may request the corresponding permissions. You may refuse or disable permissions in device settings; doing so will affect only the features that depend on those permissions.
  3. You may not unlawfully collect, use, or disclose other users’ personal information through the Services. When an activity organizer has access to participant information as necessary for an activity, the organizer shall follow the principle of minimum necessity and promptly delete the information once the purpose has been achieved.

XI. Third-Party Services and External Links

  1. The Services may integrate third-party capabilities such as Sign in with Apple, Apple push notifications, maps and location services, email delivery, object storage, cloud services, or external sharing. Third parties may provide services under their own terms and privacy rules.
  2. After you send content to a third-party application through the system sharing feature, that third party’s subsequent processing of the information is not under our direct control. Confirm the content and recipients before sharing.
  3. We make no commitments or warranties beyond those required by law regarding products, services, content, or transactions independently provided by third parties. However, if harm results from our improper selection or management of an entrusted service provider, we will bear the corresponding liability in accordance with law.

XII. Service Changes, Interruptions, and Termination

  1. We may suspend or restrict part of the Services due to system maintenance, network failures, third-party service abnormalities, force majeure, security incidents, changes in laws or policies, or other reasons, and will use reasonable efforts to reduce the impact.
  2. We will provide advance notice where feasible of scheduled maintenance or significant Service changes, except for emergency security measures.
  3. You may stop using the Services or delete your account. If we cease operating the Services, we may also provide advance notice in accordance with law and offer reasonable arrangements for data handling or the exercise of rights.

XIII. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  1. We will provide the Services using reasonable technical and management measures, but internet services cannot be guaranteed to be absolutely secure, continuous, error-free, or fully suited to every user’s specific purposes.
  2. User Content, independent organizers’ activity information, and communications are primarily provided by those users. We do not automatically guarantee authenticity, accuracy, quality, performance, or activity safety, but must fulfill applicable platform governance, safety, personal information protection, and reasonable entrusted-provider management duties. For activities we organize ourselves, we bear the corresponding organizer responsibilities and cannot rely on statements about independent third-party activities to avoid them.
  3. For losses involving a user’s fault, third parties, force majeure, maintenance, or network events, liability is determined under applicable law, each party’s fault, causation, and required duties. A limitation applies only where legally permitted and where it does not remove liability we must bear by law.
  4. These Terms do not exclude or limit any personal injury, property damage, or other liability that applicable law prohibits excluding or limiting, including liability arising from our intent or gross negligence. They do not diminish consumers’ statutory rights or remedies. Risk notices, user acknowledgments, or statements that participation is “at your own risk” do not waive those rights.

XIV. Handling of Breaches and Compensation

  1. If you violate these Terms or laws and regulations, or infringe another person’s rights and interests, we may, depending on the circumstances, process content, restrict features, suspend services, ban or delete accounts, preserve evidence, report to competent authorities, or take other measures.
  2. If your illegal or breaching conduct causes us or a third party to suffer losses, claims, penalties, or reasonable expenses, you shall bear the corresponding liability in accordance with law. We will take reasonable measures to prevent losses from increasing.
  3. If you object to the handling of an account or content, you may submit an appeal through the in-product appeal channel or the contact details specified in these Terms.

XV. Handling After Account Deletion

  1. Before deleting your account, properly handle activities you created or organized, participation relationships, unresolved disputes, and content that needs to be retained. Some activities may need to be canceled, transferred, or otherwise reasonably handled first.
  2. After account deletion is completed, you will no longer be able to log in with the original account, and the related sessions and login identities will become invalid. We will stop providing services based on that account and will delete or anonymize personal information in accordance with the “QuMiro Privacy Policy.”
  3. To fulfill legal obligations, safeguard transaction and activity security, handle complaints and disputes, protect other users’ rights and interests, or preserve the structure of content discussions, we may retain de-identified content, reports and appeals, credit restrictions, security logs, audit records, and information required by law for a necessary period.
  4. Account deletion is generally irreversible. Whether the same email address or third-party account may be used to register again is subject to the product rules and third-party platform capabilities then in effect.

XVI. Updates to These Terms

  1. We may update these Terms due to changes in laws and regulations, regulatory requirements, business features, or data processing methods, and will publish the updated version within the application or at another reasonable location.
  2. We will highlight significant changes involving the scope of the Services, fees, limitations of liability, personal information rights and interests, or other matters through pop-ups, notifications, or other prominent means, and will obtain your consent again where required by law.
  3. This version was updated on October 7, 2026. Changes apply under the published effective-date arrangements after formal publication and completion of legally required notice or consent procedures. Updating a file does not retroactively change established rights or obligations. If you disagree with a material change, you may stop using the Services and delete your account; accrued statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected.

XVII. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. The law applicable to these Terms and related disputes is determined by a court with jurisdiction or another competent authority under the applicable conflict-of-laws rules.
  2. If a dispute arises from these Terms or the Services, the parties may seek an amicable resolution. Either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction in accordance with law. Consumers’ lawful rights to complain, report, seek mediation, and bring litigation are not affected.
  3. Regardless of a user’s location, these Terms do not exclude or limit mandatory local consumer protection, privacy, or data protection rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

XVIII. Contact Us

  1. Customer service and legal contact email: support@qumiro.com.
  2. Operator name: Chengdu Qumai Technology Co., Ltd.
  3. We generally respond within fifteen business days after receiving a valid request. Where laws or regulations provide otherwise, or where a request is complex, we will explain the expected processing time.

XIX. Miscellaneous

  1. The headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.
  2. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected; the invalid part shall be interpreted, to the extent permitted by law, in the manner closest to its original purpose.
  3. Our failure to immediately exercise a right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
